Quickwedge Standards/Verticals form the support and are made from 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) Tubes Standard scaffold tubes. The Standards have a series of “v” pressings welded at 500/1000mm c/c on the tube to provide locations for ledgers and transoms. The Standards are also available with integral welded spigots or as open ended.

These items are made from 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) Tubes with pressed wedge-fixing device at both ends. These are used to tie the verticals longitudinally. On the inside of the scaffold, the ledgers are used at platform level and on the outside as guardrails.

Quickwedge Transoms are made out of 50 x 50 x 5mm angle, joined back to back with flange type extensions on both sides which provide support for working platforms with Scaffold Boards. These are engaged with “v” pressing with the standards.

Quickwedge Access Hopup Brackets are similar to Cantilever Transom with integral guard rail standard to take a ledger. This component is used where a platform is required on the outside of the scaffold with Steel Scaffold Boards or Timber Boards.

Two and three board stage brackets enable an additional 450mm (1’1”) and 675mm (2’3”) platform respectively to be provided on the inside of the scaffold nearest to the building. Tie bars must be used to connect the brackets together. They are available in both rolled section and back to back welded angles.

Made out of 38 x 38mm angle iron with a dowl at both ends. Used to connect stage brackets together.

When clamped to standards at the end of the scaffold platform, the toe board bracket secures the end toe board, which can be either steel stage or timber.
